Although the novel talks about the adventure of a young lawyer to solve a crime of which his colleague was accused, its events carried intertwined threads that wove the ordeal of a home country because of corrupt people in it, which led to deterioration and decline in all their forms. It is also pregnant with symbols which made characters and events into an objective equation with life. Even Nahla ,the heroine of the story that was about to lose her way in the midst of storms of conspiracies forever, is but mother country that is on the edge of an abyss ,still surrounded by perils. This literary work, which is the writer’s first published book, is worth reading and studying for the suspense, pleasure and beauty it is filled with.
