Sheikh Mohammed Hani Metwaly Ali was born on February 5, 2006, in the city of Edko, Beheira Governorate, Arab Republic of Egypt. He is currently a second-year student at the Faculty of Pharmacy .

From a young age, Sheikh Mohammed showed a deep passion for the Holy Qur’an. By the grace of Allah, he completed the memorization of the entire Qur’an while he was still in the first preparatory grade .

Through consistent dedication – and With the support of Allah Almighty, and then his honorable parents and distinguished teachers, Sheikh Mohammed perfected the memorization of the Qur’an. This motivated him to join Al-Azhar Institutes, where he began his preparatory stage and continued his educational journey until he obtained both the preparatory and secondary Azhar certificates.

Due to his mastery and dedication, he was entrusted with delivering Friday sermons in the mosques of Edko on a voluntary basis.  His sheikh, Sheikh Ahmed Abdel-Naby Gomaa Mar’i, granted him an ijazah (license) in reciting and teaching the Qur’an in the narration of Hafs from ‘Asim through Al-Shatibiyyah. Sheikh Mohammed currently works as a Qur’an teacher at Dar Al-Ihsan.

Sheikh Mohammad has recorded a complete recitation of the Quran according to the narration of Hafs from Asim for the benefit of the esteemed company, and he is supervising the recording of the Holy Quran with the remaining readings Insha’Allah .

 As part of his continuous pursuit to advance in Qur’anic sciences, he is currently studying the narrations of Hafs and Shu‘bah from ‘Asim through Al-Shatibiyyah under the supervision of Sheikh Hassan Habbala, a scholar specialized in the ten minor and major Qirā’āt.

Sheikh Mohammed is considered one of the distinguished readers in Qur’an memorization circles.  He has participated in many Qur’an competitions, achieving advanced rankings—by the grace of Allah, and thanks to his devoted parents and esteemed teachers, chief among them Sheikh Ahmed Mar’i, and the late Sheikh Gomaa Tayloon, who had a profound influence on shaping his academic and religious character.

Sheikh Mohammed continues his blessed journey in teaching the Qur’an and seeking knowledge, spreading goodness and positive influence wherever he goes. He asks Allah Almighty to make him among the people of the Qur’an and those who are closest to Him.
