Biography
Emad Al-Doumani is an Egyptian writer who lives in the Gulf and is a member of the Emirati Writers and Writers Union. Although he works as a financial manager and is dry and cold work to a large extent, his novels enjoy dynamism, intense heat, and overwhelming suspense. Still, at the same time, he does not follow a single pattern in his writings, nor a similar style to others.
The narration of Flee the Cocoon is strongly distinguished from his other novel, The Catacombs of Satan, just as his narration of The Mall is completely different from his other narration, The Other Half of the Apple, so that you will be perplexed and perhaps amazed and say to yourself that it is difficult or even impossible for the author of these different narrations to be one person. Al-Domani’s novels sail you into magical realism at times, fly you into wild imagination at other times, and forcibly enter you into worlds of horror at different times, and sometimes you find him flying your heart and mind and writing in romance what is unique to him from others.
