Biography
Ikbal Harb’s writings revolve around the human and social problems that afflict people wherever they are. Everyone is equal in the author’s entity as a brother in humanity with its colors, races, ethnicities, and cultures. It also includes the defense of the human rights of a woman and a man, a tortured child and a homeless one, the ignorant and the learned, and the disabled and displaced victims of conflicts and wars. Analyzes reality and explores the future through novels, collections of stories, and articles.
The novel “Here the seducer lies“ fiercely defends the female and explains the inherited customs and traditions and the tribal pimples that ravage her and deprive her of her rights and freedom as a human being.
The Holy Cursed is a philosophical novel that explores the eternal struggle between good and evil and the depth of the relationship between man and the universe.
The last novel, “The Oracle with the Black Beak,” recounts and chronicles a century, with the symbolism of its heroes, the chicken kingdoms, of events that affected many countries worldwide. It can be seen as the second part of “Telling the Truth.“
The collection of stories, “Long Live the Order,“ analyzes and refutes the types of terrorism, in society, at home, and in terrorist organizations through stories based on the human truth everywhere.
The other world inspired the “New Blind“ collection of stories as a dimension parallel to our planet. Full of imagination and surprises through proposals and future problems on different levels.
The poetic collective “The Lover of Oblivion“ is a sentimental group described by the Italian poet Mario Ragli as a model of Pablo Neruda’s work.
The “Birth of a Poet” collection, published in English and Italian, is a collection of translated excerpts from The Lover of Oblivion.
“Death of a Poet“ is a collection of stories about the suffering and misery of a poor person in a society that knows animal rights and turns away from human rights.
The importance of the author’s works, which are primarily fictional and symbolic, do not talk about a specific place or specific characters. The tear of joy is the same for all people as the tear of sadness, and the descriptions of racism and tyranny are the same anywhere on the planet. Reading reality and diving into human feelings inspires him to discover the future of humanity and spread the truth hidden from many people. Writing about the Earth’s relationship with the universe is a constant obsession in the author’s writings.
