Subhi Fahmawi (1948-) is a Palestinian-born Jordanian writer and novelist, born in Umm al-Zinat, Palestine.
Early life and education
Subhi Ahmad Khalil Fahmawi was born in Umm al-Zinat, Palestine, in 1948. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Alexandria University in 1969 and a postgraduate diploma in Landscape Architecture from the University of Los Angeles in the United States in 1983.

He has eight collections of short stories : Harvest Season, Uncomplicated Man, Twenty Girls, The Mummy Man, Chili Pepper, Attitudes, Everything for Sale, and Guffaws.
